Saved! The last Blackburn Beverley.

Long ago we visited the Blackburn Beverley, an incredible transport plane built in Brough in Yorkshire.  It was residing in a museum in Fort Paull, before that it had been in the Yorkshire Museum in the town of its namesake, Beverley.  I saw it there too.

The Fort Paull museum closed a few years ago , but now is reopening with a new owner.  But the Beverley will no longer be there and that is now moving to The Solway Aviation Museum who succeeded in raising the £60,000, to transport it to their museum.

Their just giving page is still open to help the Beverley and the museum.  Link below.
